At Balance Design, we have been lucky enough to build some special relationships with many local artists over the last 20 years. Whether we are having a piece commissioned, hosting an art opening in our studio, sponsoring an art class or commissioning a mural- we believe in the power that art brings to our lives.

Our amazing design assistant, Kalah Lee, went to some of our favorite artists’ studios and interviewed them to learn more about their process of working and collaborating on their projects. She interviewed Rusty Walton, who works primarily in encaustic and plasters, Crysta Luke, who works primarily in acrylics and watercolors, and Courtney Khail, who’s modern watercolor floral art was recently featured in our studio this summer.
